The 57cm Charcoal Pro offers a spacious 54.4cm round cooking grid, enough for a family meal or a weekend with friends without braaiing in shifts. The kettle-style design lets you braai with the lid open or closed, so the same braai handles chops over direct heat and a leg of lamb roasted slowly under the dome.
Heat control you can actually read
The porcelain enamelled dome carries a built-in thermometer, and two adjustable stainless steel air vents let you raise or drop the temperature by controlling airflow. Close the vents down and the fire settles for low, slow cooking; open them up for a hard sear. The handle on the dome stays cool, so you can lift the lid mid-braai without reaching for a cloth.
Built to survive a South African patio
Both the bowl and the dome are porcelain enamelled, so they will not rust and wipe down with a damp cloth. Ash drops into a stainless steel ash bowl underneath, which lifts out for emptying instead of needing to be scraped.

Keep your 57cm kettle braai clean between braais. A fitted cover sized for the 57cm Charcoal Pro, shielding the bowl, dome and handles from dust, pollen, rain and UV so you spend less time cleaning and more time cooking.
Dust and damp are what age an outdoor braai, not the fire. Left uncovered on a patio, a kettle collects grit in the vents, moisture in the ash bowl and sun-fade on the enamel. This cover drops over the assembled braai and stays put, so the unit is ready to light instead of needing a wipe-down first. Fit it only once the braai has cooled completely — covering a warm braai traps heat and moisture, which does more harm than leaving it bare.

Get your coals going without a bottle of firelighter fluid. The Fire Express concentrates heat through the charcoal so the fire establishes evenly and you can start cooking sooner.

The Fire Express is designed to get charcoal burning quickly and evenly before cooking, cutting the wait and the amount of firelighter used. It also removes the main reason people pour accelerant on a warm fire, which is the single most common braai injury in South Africa. Let it cool fully before storing.

Warranty claims are handled through CADAC’s authorised service network. Keep your Stargas invoice as proof of purchase; it is required for any claim.
What the warranty does not cover
- Normal wear on the cooking grid, ash bowl and charcoal grate.
- Rust or discolouration caused by leaving the braai uncovered or storing it wet.
- Damage from unapproved cleaning products, abrasive scourers or pressure washing.
- Damage from using the braai with any fuel other than charcoal or briquettes.
- Cosmetic marks that do not affect function.
- Commercial use.
