Joining this to your 10 m?
Extra pipe comes as its own length. A tee piece is included to join it to the pipe already in your package. Should you require to continue straight, you will need a straight union.

Extra pipe arrives as a separate length. If your installer needs to join it in a straight line, they'll use a straight joiner. Not sure? Your installer will know.

Please note, this package cannot deliver the volume of gas required for this size installation.
You chose , but the appliances you selected need a larger cylinder. Running them on an undersized cylinder starves the gas supply, your geyser will cut out.
We recommend
You can always upgrade to a larger cylinder, you just can’t go smaller.
SANS 10087 — cylinder safety distances
The minimum clearances every LPG cylinder installation must meet.
- 1 m from doors & windows
- 1 m from boundaries
- 5 m from electrical sources
- 2 m from vents
- Avoid low-lying areas

These packages are supplied for a qualified professional to install. Stargas takes no responsibility for an installation carried out by an unqualified person.
We size your package from the appliances you choose. You cannot select a package smaller than your installation requires — it will not deliver enough gas.
All installations must meet the SANS 10087 safety distances.
Stargas has guided you to the correct package to the best of its ability. Any alteration to the recommended package is your own choice and responsibility.

Installations here are limited to without an approved fire plan, a municipal fire-safety requirement for larger gas installations.
You can still build freely. If your build needs a bigger package, includes a fireplace, or reaches three installations, you’ll be able to:
- tell us you already have an approved fire plan, or
- continue without a fire plan, at your own responsibility, after accepting a waiver.
