Pigtail O-Ring Seal

Pigtail O-Ring Seal – Replacement of the O-Ring seal on 0.5m & 1m Pigtails (This pigtail is made from hydraulic piping with a brass threaded fitting on one side to fit the regulator and a crimped bullnose male adapter on the other side. This crimped bullnose male adapter is made to fit 9kg, 14kg, 19kg & 48kg gas cylinders). Ensure your O-Ring seal is ALWAYS in good condition. Any seal found to have cracks should be replaced immediately. NOTE: When connecting the new cylinder make sure your O-Ring seal is still ON and there are NO obstructions that may cause the cylinder to leak. Once your regulator is fastened make sure it does not feel loose, if so it may be an indication that the seal has not seated properly. Use soapy solution after every exchange to ensure your O-Ring and cylinder valves are not leaking. Consult the Stargas Technical team should you require any further information.
