The 250L Gas Chest Freezer from Zero delivers reliable freezing performance without depending entirely on electricity. This 250 litre gas chest freezer operates on LPG gas, with optional mains electric backup, making it ideal for off-grid living, farms, lodges, rural properties, and load shedding environments in South Africa.
This 250L gas chest freezer provides a large 250 litre capacity, allowing you to store bulk meat, frozen goods, and long-term food supplies. With a total capacity of 8.83 cubic feet, it suits families, small businesses, and remote operations that require dependable freezing.
Unlike conventional electric freezers, this propane chest freezer operates silently and does not produce EMF emissions. The LPG operation ensures continued freezing even during power outages. This makes it a practical solution for areas with unstable electricity supply.
The Zero 250L gas chest freezer consumes approximately 29g of LPG per hour. It can also run on mains electricity with an approximate usage of 0.29 kWh and a wattage of 320W. Adding a thermostat can further reduce energy or gas consumption, improving efficiency.
Its temperate zone rating (+32°C) makes it suitable for South African climate conditions. The durable white exterior blends easily into home, garage, or farm environments.
